Three New Features

We rolled three new features into TypePad this week, just in time for the holidays.
Holiday Themes
Continuing our annual tradition, we've posted three new holiday themes. This year they're available as both weblog and photo album themes. To dress up your blog for the holidays, click on "Change Theme" on the Design tab. The new themes are in the "Special Interest" category; pick the one you like, click "Save Changes" and you're done!
New Searchable Knowledge Base
We're excited to launch a new Knowledge Base that will help you find answers to your questions about TypePad and how to make your blog the best it can be. Our Support team has done a fantastic job of migrating our old Help system into the new Knowledge Base, and we encourage you to give it a spin (and bookmark it!) at support.typepad.com.
Delete as Junk
Over the past few months, we've made a number of enhancements to the way we analyze comments and TrackBacks as they're posted, with the goal of filtering spam before it ever reaches your blog. We know, however, that our tests aren't perfect and we can learn more about comment and TrackBack spam from our user community. To do that, we've added new action buttons to the comment and TrackBack listing screens that let you "Delete as Junk" any piece of feedback that you want to report to TypePad as spam. Over time we'll use this information to evolve more powerful spam-fighting tools.
