[MTOS-dev] Template Module Caching

Hey Jesse,

I asked this question before and it appears that in 4.15 Beta 4 parts of
the promised 4.15 features are not yet fully implement. It looks like
while the template caching is there it's not built into the global
templates as yet and if you're using template caching then you might
notice that dynamic SSI includes don't work either.

They'll both be in there and working in the final release of 4.15 =)

I did stumble upon this the other day:

http://www.movabletype.org/downloads/nightlies/MTOS-4.15-en-release-37-r
2159-20080430.tar.gz

Not sure what's in that release or not and it's a nightly build so it
probably won't be very stable but if you wanted insight into what might
be there in Beta 5 have a look see... I haven't used it myself though so
do so at your own risk!

Subject: [MTOS-dev] Template Module Caching

I love the new template module caching in 4.15, but I'm wondering how
this functionality works with global templates? I'd like to be able to
specify a location for global templates so that I can include them into
my local blogs via php, but it seems like because global settings (user
profiles, etc.) don't really have an actual "location" assigned to them,
they have to exist solely in the database. Or am I thinking of this the
wrong way?
