I enabled it on an 4.1.1 site this weekend that used the publishing 
queue and FCGI via mt-dispatcher.  MT disabled the publishing queue when 
memcached support was enabled, and re-enabled it when I removed 
memcached support.  The checkbox in the blog config became unclicked and 
the pages were nolonger built in the background.

Note that I was using the Cache::Memcached::Fast driver, version 0.08.
