[MTOS-dev] JavaScript framework requirements document

I created a new page on the Movable Type wiki to further specify
the functionality and requirements of a core JavaScript framework for
Movable Type [1]. I would like to gather requirements and input from
the community. We will follow-up on this requirements document by
evaluating major JavaScript frameworks in their current forms against
the needs of Movable Type and its popular derivatives (e.g. MTEE, MTCE).

If you could help document current uses of JavaScript throughout
Movable Type we can start tracking specific module support in other
frameworks (RTE, charting, etc.) or evaluate the rewrite effort needed
to place us on a new foundation.

Have you been dreaming of a new feature in MT powered by
JavaScript? The discussion section of the wiki page is a good place to
share experiences and observations that may help MT stand out in the
marketplace but might not necessarily be considered a requirement.
