First off, welcome! :)

Byrne Reese, the MT product manager at Six Apart whom you will no
doubt hear from on this list, has said on the ProNet list that they
are expecting to launch MT 4.1 in less than a week given no P1 bugs
turn up until then. At that time a stable MTOS release will also be
made to coincide with that release.

So short answer: in about a week.
