I suspected they were, since the versioning of files is needed to use 
expired headers, a part of yslow.

But that page gives you one indication of why I don't like YUI - just 
look at the sheer number of components!  I understand that you don't 
need to use all of them, but the number of requests is incredible!  
Using something like Mootools, for instance, if you want components, 
it's all in a single file instead - and you can then pack it, not just 
strip out whitespace and such.

Anyway, off my YUI-bashing horse for now.  :)
