[MTOS-dev] svn repositories for media manager and or podcasting plugins?

I have a student who wants to do an independent study with me next term.
I'm tempted to launch him on a media RSS aggregator project using one of
Byrne's plugins as a base as well as maybe Ben Trott's refeed.  Are those in
an svn repository somewhere?

Any suggestions on strategy?  For instance, one idea might be to start with
media manager and create a module for that.  However, I have not looked at
the code enough to know if media manager is built for modules.

My idea is to create a module that allows users to subscribe to media RSS
feeds and selectively add the multimedia assets in the feeds to the MT asset
management system.

Inserting these assets into posts is another matter.
