[MTOS-dev] Proposal: XSearch (Was: Re: proposals and changes protocol?)

Happy New Year and welcome back to (relative) normalcy everyone.

I just wanted to give this a bump in hopes of getting some discussion
going here. If it sucks it would be good to say so (and why). I'd be
surprised to find anyone here that thinks search as its been
implemented doesn't need some type of work. This proposal I hope would
begin the many steps towards that.
