With the availability of so many forums for discussion regarding MTOS, this
mailing list, the forums, and the bug database just to name a few, I thought
it would be a good idea for us to discuss the assemblage of an "MTOS Code of
Conduct." What I am proposing is that we as a community define a set of
norms that we expect the community to agree to and live by.
First - do people feel this is a good idea?
I did a brief amount of research and found 3 such documents from other open
source communities that I thought might serve as a good starting point for
us:
* http://www.opensource.org/codeofconduct
* http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct
* http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/council/coc.xml
At the end of this process I hope for us to assemble our own documented
"Code of Conduct." Therefore I invite everyone who is interested to take a
gander and share what you like and dislike.
Byrne
