[MTOS-dev] Smarty error after MTOS 4.1 upgrade

I'll be the first to say that there are many plugins that I wish worked with
dynamic publishing. Is there any particular reason I do dynamic over static
publishing? Probably not, but I constantly make many small tweaks to my site
that I used to do exclusively in PHP (due to MT limitations), but that I now
do in MT, and publishing dynamically keeps me from having to rebuild my
entire site whenever I make a small change. Plus, I don't see the reason why
I should have my data stored in a database and then duplicated in a static
html page; to me, it just seems like a waste of space when it can be pulled
dynamically from the database. That's just me though.

I have considered switching to static publishing though, just for the simple
fact that it seems many plugin writers out there are ignoring or choosing
not to take the extra time to make their plugins work for dynamic
publishing.
