[MTOS-dev] Query syntax for generic use?

I am asking here for a use case or two, in which developers would see a benefit if MT allows such a syntax integrated to two of MT's fundamental methods, load and load_iter.  You don't have to use the syntax to load MT objects from the database, where performance is the concern.  Again, I am leaning towards not adding it at least in the next release because I don't see any immediate benefit.

The wildcard that it generates is a default implementation which (I believe) is good enough for many users of MT.  I don't see any other implementation that works well enough in most of the environments on which MT runs everyday.  The search is fully extensible.  You can write a plugin that works as a frontend of your favorite search engine.
