Hi All,
We have tried running MTOS under FCGI and have run into many of the
problems that we did under mod-perl. This becomes very evident if the
requires in the code are changed to use and moved to the header. We did
this to prevent the reloading of the FCGI process because the executed
code changed by taking a different path.
Since improving performance is mentioned as a high priority in the
roadmap I am wondering if SixApart will commit to development standards
that support memory persistent interpreters and if they will be testing
in mod-perl/FCGI enabled servers.
We estimate 80 man-hours to clean up the code to make it suitable for
mod-perl. However, future code must adhere to the same standards or it
will be a wasted effort.
