Hi Fumiaki,

Are you saying that's the cause for the disparity?  Mind you, I'm not
judging at all.  I'm just doing some exploratory work to answer the
question of what level of effort I might be in for here.. :-)  It
would seem to me (the untrained eye unfamiliar with the intricacies of
this piece of code) that the conversion would be pretty easy.  If
that's not the case, I'd love to know.
