To bring this proposal full circle, I thought I would do a round up and
summarize the will of the community.

There were:

1.5 votes in favor
9 votes against
0 vote of indifference

Chad's voted in a sense for and against the measure, thereby nullifying his
vote... But his sentiment was clear (to me) - the split would be impractical
and thus I could his vote as a -1.

So to close the loop on the issue, given the spread between the +1's and
-1's, I will say that NO we will not have a mtos-discuss mailing list at
this time.
