I'm guessing here, but I'd assume that the search is based on
mt-search.cgi or some slight variant, and if that's the case, it's only
searching entry content (perhaps pages) - one of the problems _with_
mt-search.cgi.
For a full-fledged search offering author, date and topic search, then I
think it needs to look elsewhere. Unless Brad and company are busy
coding up a replacement for mt-search.cgi, it's unlikely that the
MT-based forums are going to offer that...
