You can receive credit for your current license if you want to upgrade to a higher license, as long as the new license is in the same category as your current license.

We give you credit by issuing a discount code for the current value of the license you have. Then you must use that code during the purchase of the higher license, so that you will only pay the difference in price between the two after the code is applied. Once you make the new purchase, the old license will be removed from your account.

If you'd like to upgrade your existing license, please open a new ticket with the subject of "License Upgrade" in the Billing Questions category. Along with your request, please provide either the order number from your original purchase, or the last four digits of the credit card number used and its type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).

Once support staff confirms the original purchase, the appropriate discount code will be issued and posted on the ticket. You will need to enter the code in the Discounts box on the Price of Selected License screen in order to receive the credit. Make sure to click Apply this code, and then verify that the credit is reflected in the purchase price before proceeding to the Enter Billing Information screen.

After completing the purchase of the new license, please post back to the ticket notifying support staff of this so that the old license can be removed. (We do not remove the old license at the time the code is issued, as this will terminate your access to the support system. Waiting until after your new purchase is completed ensures you still have access to support in case you encounter any problems when buying the new license.)
