Movable Type Knowledge Base: Not Signed Up For This Feature

Question

When anyone tries to sign in to post a comment on my site, they keep getting this message:

The site you're trying to comment on has not signed up for this feature. Please inform the site owner.

Answer

Make sure you have entered the correct URL in your TypeKey profile under Your Weblog Preferences on the Account Preferences page:

Use the domain URL that matches your CGIPath in mt-config.cgi¹, rather than the blog URL.
If you have http://www.example.com/cgi-bin/ for CGIPath, then use http://www.example.com/ as the application URL in TypeKey.
Use lowercase letters for the URL in both the TypeKey profile and for your CGIPath (i.e., www, not WWW).
Remember to include the trailing slash (/) at the end of the URL.

¹ In versions prior to 3.2, the configuration file is named mt.cfg.
