Comment text formatting

This option specifies the text formatting option (details) to be applied for comments submitted to your weblog.

Note that Text Formatting is executed before unwanted HTML tags are removed, if they are allowed at all. Also, the Text formatting option is not constrained by the Allow HTML setting and will be executed regardless of that option.
