• Once an entry or category has been set to receive TrackBack pings, disabling pings for it through the UI will not actually refuse pings to that item but will suppress display of those pings.
• Rebuilds will fail silently after saving an entry if a problem exists in your templates (for example, mismatched tags or a missing include module). An error will be shown, however, upon manual rebuild using the "Rebuild Site" functionality.
• The nofollow plugin will cause a spurious warning for users with older versions of Perl upon running mt-check.cgi, mt-testbg.cgi or any of the mt-upgrade scripts. This warning can be safely ignored.
• Upon originally selecting a Creative Commons license, version 1.0 of the licenses are provided. Upon subsequent edit, version 2.0 licenses are provided.
• Movable Type can't be used with DBD::Pg 1.4 because of a bug in that version of the database driver.
• Plugins that need to save configuration data cannot be used with the DBI::postgres driver (mt_plugindata.data column has incorrect type).

• The auto-expiration of Junk feedback items only occurs when a user visits the main menu for that weblog. In future versions, auto-expiration of junk items will be triggered system-wide when a new junk feedback item is received.

• Empty categories do not display subcategory entries.

• MTEntries with recently_commented_on attribute causes SQL error with MySQL version 4.1 or older. For the time being, either publish the page statically, or ask your host to upgrade MySQL.

• Assign multiple categories dropdown on the entry editing interface isn't dynamically updated when a new category is added from the primary category dropdown. When the entry is saved, the new category will appear in the list.

• After adding new sub-category, new sub-category appears as top-level category in Category dropdown.

• Tag auto-complete doesn't work in IE7b2.

• Multiple run-periodic-tasks instances conflict in /tmp directory control file. For now, a user may specify a custom path for their installation's TempDir configuration directive.

• SpamLookup: Non-regex strings that start with / treated as NULL regex. To use a regex line (instead of a whole-word line), you will need to escape your slashes. So instead of typing

//movabletype

you would type

/\/\/movabletype\b/

• The language choice dropdown on the user profile should be localized so that each choice is displayed in the language itself (e.g. English, Deutsche, Français).

• "Final Feedback Rating" is not displayed when it is equal to zero.

• Problems with non-ASCII file names for uploaded files.

• (MT Enterprise only) The DeleteFilesAtRebuild configuration directive does not delete files in a few situations, such as when template archive map is altered, publishing paths are changed, an entry is modified that affects secondary individual archive template map, or an archive map uses a dirified author name and author alters their name.

• If you use apostrophes in your entry tags, it causes improper display of the tags listing page and makes it difficult to edit those tags.

• The type attribute to MTIfCategory tag currently only accepts a value of "primary". It should also accept "secondary".

• TrackBack pings to a TrackBack-enabled, empty category causes an unhandled error.

• No error is displayed when the mt-static directory cannot be found.
