Daily MT Builds Are Back!
Good news! Daily updates of the latest Movable Type development builds are back in effect! The "Download" sidebar again links to the the latest English tar.gz and zip versions of MT (currently known as "wheeljack"). Each day that changes have been made, the downloads will be named "mt-branch-latest" but will uncompress with an appropriate name such as "MT-3.3-en-wheeljack-r995-20070102". These builds are created from the files on our code.sixapart.com Movable Type subversion repository and currently this "rotation" is done each evening around 5PM PST if there have been changes to the core codebase.
I am in the process of smoothing out the automation, like re-adding a "previous days work" changelog link to the sidebar, etc.
Please remember that these are development builds for testing purposes and not for production use. As always, remember to backup your MT files and database before overwriting any precious, existing data. :-)

So, eh, what happened to the daily builds? Both the zip and tar.gz give me a 404.

There was a mixup between the physical files and the link names. All fixed! Thank you for alerting us. :)
