A few notes about documentation
This is an archived entry from the Movable Type 3.2 beta test.
Entries from the current beta release (v3.3) can be found here.
Lest you think we're finished, I just wanted to reiterate that the documentation is in a state of rapid and constant change at this point. Aside from making sure that we're progressing towards a release, this is my number one job.
Here's what we're in the process of doing right now:
- Entering placeholders (and soon content!) for all context-sensitive help links in MT
- Breaking up the template tags reference sections into individual entries
- Working on the final design for the blog which will incorporate a number of enhancements including a wider content column
- Editing the basename of every single entry in order to provide for better Google searching (permalinks aren't yet permanent!)
- Preparing the search to be cross-blog with the Knowledge Base blog

One thing that I'd like to recommend is the "style" or the "theme" of the documentation. Please take this into consideration. Looking forward to the "enhancements".
The documentation would be really comprehensive with individual entry for template tags (as said above).
