The following is a list of known issues with MT 3.2b5 (Beta-5) and some nightlies:
- None yet...
And a few notable issues that will not be fixed in v3.2 but will be addressed in a later release:
- Non-ASCII characters are encoded incorrectly under MySQL 4.1x
- Entries tag doesn't support new category path selection syntax (e.g. <MTEntries category="Parent Category/Child Category">)
- Dynamic publishing does not properly use/store linked templates
- recently_commented_on attribute of MTEntries ignores context
- Changing your blog's time zone forward (in the positive direction) can throttle commenters for a while
- Modified 'URLs to ping' field not saved when saving entry (Case 5411)
- The Movable Type admin interface have style/layout problems in Netscape 7.1 and possibly all other Netscape browsers.
- The Atom feed ID (atom:feed and atom:id) will change if the blog domain is changed or the user exports/imports.
- If run-periodic tasks fails in publishing a scheduled entry, the entry status changes to publish
- CMS.pm and Comments.pm lack HTTP proxy support

I'm having trouble getting category archives to work properly with dynamic publishing. It worked fine for me with 3.1 but the 3.2 beta is glitching. I have no problem with the archives when I switch over to static. I think this is due to a problem with the Tags plugin, which I started using last week with 3.1. I'm not sure what the cause of the error is though. The problem that manifests is that my dynamic category archives only display all recent entries instead of entries filtered by the current category.

Also, what's the deal with future posts? The tools directory is not included in the ZIP/TAR and when I tried adding it back to my MT folder, I got permission errors from cron. Has this feature been removed? If so, the option to publish in the future is still selectable in the entry page.

Make sure to file a bug if you've found one.

The feature hasn't been removed although we didn't include the tools/ directory in beta 1. It will come back.

I tried installing MT-Blacklist and while it shows the plugin is enabled, I cannot access the Blacklist configuration unless I manually type the Url into my browser window. Even then, it cannot seem to find the stylesheets.
Both Blacklist and the No Follow links in the plugin screen show up as black text, and not linked. SPAMLookup IS linked and it seems to be working correctly.

Just emailed a problem with the Default Weblog Display Settings option of 'Entries to Display' ..if set to display the last X days, it does so, but if set to display the last X entries, it shows the first X entries ever published on the weblog instead.. this is on a fresh full install of MT after importing about 4 years of entries from my previous installation.

Plugin activation from the main plugins menu appears not to function properly.
When activating a plugin titled "NowPlaying" via MT's System Shortcuts main plugin menu (click on highlighted plugin)... then add path to XML file on server for one of my blogs... MT asks me to log back in (Your Movable Type session has ended. Please login again to continue this action.). When I enetr user name and password to log back in, I get the following error:
Unknown object type (close) (go back)
I can just click on the "Main Menu" option from this screen and get back to the main menu...

This list (of will not be fixed bugs) includes "Dynamic publishing does not properly use/store linked templates". Can this be expounded on? I use dynmaic publishing and my dynamic templates include other templates. Does this bug affect me?
(Note that this was posted, but never responded to in the "proper" channels.

Hi TPC, sorry for the lag. I missed your comment. This feature did not work in 3.17, 3.16 or 3.15. I'm not sure about before that. Here's the bug from the bug notes:

Thanks for the run down. I did affect me (back with 3.1), I just didn't realize at the time it was a bug.

When I use dynamic publishing with default template, the CSS is not linked correctly, it links to "http://xxxx/" instead of "http://xxxx/style.css".
Is that related to the known issue "Dynamic publishing does not properly use/store linked templates"?

That is unrelated. Please post your problem to this thread and make sure to include more details about your setup than you have here. Thanks.
